Sorry

It was Andy who let me have it. "Where's the next blog? How could you let you readership, viz me, down like that? Stuck in the middle of Hpng Kong Harbour?". He was right of course. Andy is always right, especially when he goes on and on about what a great bloke I am and how the world would be a much better place if only chaps could be more like GCR.

So, here it is: "Sorry". There, I feel better now. Don't you?

After moving on from Hong Kong Harbour and back on the plane, we landed without incident and without another upgrade to Premium Economy. Jude went off to work next day and I went back to retirement. Get over it.

Here I am in Brisbane, on Leon's "new" yacht at Raby Bay, near Cleveland. He is presently below decks with his new friend Bill, who is the former owner of this huge 40-ft sailing vessel. Through a veil of tears and with a tremmly voice, Bill is telling Leon how the boat works. I am pretty sure that Bill is a reluctant seller. Another chap, Carl, is installing a "holding tank", which is code for "dunny". It means that business can be carried out while tied up in built-up areas like where we are now in one of those backwater estates that back onto huge canals. They seem to run the entire western seaboard north of Coolangatta.

So there you go. The first of the next instalment from Groombles. I shall try my hardest to keep you up to date and informed of "goings on" in the Groombles brain. Watch This Space ...

YBP, Groom!
